I love getting to know mine and other people’s inner worlds.
This has been my passion since I was young. I would look at people – couples, parents, and individuals – and wonder why they lead the lives they do.
What led one person to be calm and loving, patiently answering their child’s questions at the grocery store; while other people seemed stoic, not alive, or aggressive? Was it nature? Was it their upbringing? Or was there more to their stories that surrounded the choices they made?
I intuitively felt there was more to all of our stories than meets the eye.
When I was 18, I went scuba diving. I still remember the incredible experience of discovering a whole hidden world underneath the surface.
My work as a coach, I’d say, is similar to scuba diving. We go inside ourselves, under the surface, and we start exploring. That’s where we find the answers, solutions, and tools we’ve been searching for.
The energy that I aspire to give to clients and coaches is that it’s worth going inside, even if what you find is initially hard or painful. There’s something deep within that’s been calling you.
